Christian Education

Christian Education

Christian Education plays a vital role in the life of Bethesda Presbyterian Church.

We believe the church has a responsibility to be a life long teacher of the Christian faith. Education at Bethesda Presbyterian teaches persons to become faithful Christian disciples by: learning the language and history of our faith and tradition, creating community through questioning, examining, and exploring the Bible, and sharing life experiences in order to integrate how to live out our faith in the world.

Bethesda Presbyterian offers educational and spiritual formation programs for all ages. Classes for children, teens and adults begin at 9:45am, September through June. We have also child care available during class and worship hours.

Adult Education Series

This group will meet in the Atrium (off Fellowship Hall). Grab a cup of coffee if you’d like and join the Christian Café group of “Thoughtful Christians”. The Thoughtful Christian is a web-based resource designed to stimulate our thoughts about Christian values and how they relate to today’s world. The studies encourage class members to share their thoughts and beliefs while wrestling with questions that inform the way we live out our faith in everyday life.
