Rebuilding Together

HELP THOSE WHO CAN NO LONGER HELP THEMSELVES. On April 26th, Bethesda Presbyterian will once again sponsor a house project for Rebuilding Together Montgomery County.
On April 26th BPCer's will gather to help a low-income homeowner––usually someone elderly or disabled––to repair and renovate his or her home. Where necessary, we will add modifications such as wheelchair ramps or grab-bars to make life safer and easier for hard-working people who can no longer manage on their own.
Many members of our congregation have pitched in over the past 15 years, donating time, sweat, food, and money, or all of the above.
What can YOU do to help???? You can volunteer to work, but if you cannot do that, we will need food to restore our energies on the day. To fund the project we will need and additional $1,000.

Shelter Meal Provider

For over 15 years, volunteers from Bethesda Presbyterian Church have provided the dinner meal at the Bethesda House (formerly the Men's Shelter) on Cordell Avenue the second Friday of every month.
There are about 15 men at the shelter and the meal needs to be thereby 6:00 p.m.
If you would like to volunteer to provide the dinner meal or perhaps know of a group that would like to do this, contact the church office.
